Riding Lessons
The Pearl Ranch offers incorporated horsemanship education and riding lessons for ages 5 and up.
Our lessons take place in an outside arena year-round, weather permitting and above 20 degrees.
Long pants and closed toed shoes with a heel are required to ride.
We also require all riders to wear a helmet, which is provided, while the rider is on the horse.
Lessons start in the arena until the skill level is demonstrated for riding outside of the arena. All riding and handling of horses is done with an instructor present.
Session Fees Per Rider
One hour lesson $100
Half-hour lesson $ 50
Pre-Paid 1 hour lesson packages available:
5 lessons - $450
10 lessons - $900
Pre-Paid half hour lesson packages available:
5 lessons - $225
10 lessons - $450
Cancelation is required with 24-hour notice or there will be a $40 dollar fee for not notifying Pearl Ranch.
A 5% discount is available for multiple family participants (first at the regular rate, additional family members at 5% discount).
For the safety of our horses, we do have a 225lb rider weight maximum.
To receive services, a liability waiver, and additional forms must be signed before participating with horses.
We ask that payment is provided at the time of service. Cash and check are preferred. Payments can also be made on Venmo. There is a 2% processing fee when paying through Venmo.
